Ohio State’s 2025 recruiting class is shaping up to be one of the most impressive in recent memory, featuring a plethora of standout talents poised to make significant impacts on the field. Currently ranked 5th nationally, the Buckeyes have secured commitments from four five-star prospects and 17 four-star recruits, underscoring their strong recruiting efforts.

Tavien St. Clair – Quarterback

Leading the class is five-star quarterback Tavien St. Clair from Bellefontaine, Ohio. Standing at 6-foot-4 and weighing 225 pounds, St. Clair is ranked as the third overall recruit nationally and the top prospect in Ohio. His combination of size, arm strength, and football intelligence makes him a promising candidate to lead the Buckeyes’ offense in the future.

Devin Sanchez – Cornerback

Another jewel in the class is five-star cornerback Devin Sanchez from Houston, Texas. Standing at 6-foot-2 and 180 pounds, Sanchez is the top-ranked cornerback in the nation and the fifth overall prospect. His exceptional coverage skills and athleticism make him a formidable addition to Ohio State’s secondary.

Na’eem Offord – Cornerback

Joining Sanchez in the secondary is five-star cornerback Na’eem Offord from Birmingham, Alabama. At 6-foot-1 and 181 pounds, Offord is ranked as the third-best cornerback nationally and the top prospect in Alabama. His physicality and ball-hawking abilities are expected to bolster the Buckeyes’ defensive backfield.

Riley Pettijohn – Linebacker

Bolstering the defense further is five-star linebacker Riley Pettijohn from McKinney, Texas. Standing at 6-foot-1 and 215 pounds, Pettijohn is the second-ranked linebacker in the nation. Known for his sideline-to-sideline range and tackling prowess, he is anticipated to be a key contributor to the Buckeyes’ linebacker corps.

Jayvon McFadden – Interior Offensive Lineman

On the offensive line, four-star interior lineman Jayvon McFadden from Camden, New Jersey, stands out. At 6-foot-4 and 300 pounds, McFadden is known for his strength and technique, making him a valuable addition to Ohio State’s offensive front.

Quincy Porter – Wide Receiver

Adding to the offensive firepower is four-star wide receiver Quincy Porter from Oradell, New Jersey. Standing at 6-foot-3 and 200 pounds, Porter is praised for his route-running precision and reliable hands, traits that should make him a favorite target in the Buckeyes’ passing attack.

This recruiting class reflects Ohio State’s commitment to securing top-tier talent across all positions. With a blend of offensive and defensive standouts, the Buckeyes are well-positioned to maintain their status as a powerhouse in college football for years to come.
