As of January 24, 2025, several former Ohio State Buckeyes have declared for the upcoming NFL Draft. Notably, running backs TreVeyon Henderson and Quinshon Judkins have both announced their intentions to enter the draft. Henderson, standing at 5’10” and weighing 210 lbs, showcased impressive versatility during the 2024 season, amassing 1,016 rushing yards with an average of 7.1 yards per carry and 10 touchdowns, alongside 284 receiving yards and one touchdown on 27 receptions. His dual-threat capabilities as both a rusher and receiver have made him a prominent draft prospect.
Quinshon Judkins, who transferred to Ohio State from Ole Miss before the 2024 season, also had a standout year. He accumulated 1,060 rushing yards and 14 touchdowns on 194 carries, and added 22 receptions for 161 yards and two touchdowns. His performance was instrumental in Ohio State’s success, including a notable contribution in the College Football Playoff victory against Notre Dame, where he scored three touchdowns and gained 121 yards from scrimmage.
Additionally, NFL Draft expert Dane Brugler from The Athletic has identified five Ohio State players among the top 50 prospects for the 2025 draft. This list includes defensive tackle Tyleik Williams, defensive end J.T. Tuimoloau, wide receiver Emeka Egbuka, cornerback Denzel Burke, and defensive end Jack Sawyer.
While these players have declared for the draft and are projected as high picks, the official NFL Draft event is scheduled for April 2025. Therefore, as of now, no players have been officially drafted. The draft will determine the professional destinations of these talented athletes.
