Florida State University (FSU) has recently bolstered its 2025 recruiting class with the commitments of two four-star edge rushers, Tylon Lee and LaJesse Harrold.
Tylon Lee, who previously committed to Ole Miss, recorded an impressive senior season with 87 tackles, 40 tackles for loss, and 6 sacks. LaJesse Harrold, formerly committed to LSU, notched 48 tackles, 18 tackles for loss, and 8.5 sacks in his junior year. Both players visited FSU prior to their decisions, contributing to the Seminoles’ momentum post-Early Signing Day. These additions bring FSU’s total to 20 recruits in the class, elevating their national ranking.
In addition to Lee and Harrold, FSU secured a commitment from four-star cornerback Gregory “Zae” Thomas in June 2024. Thomas, a member of the Seminole Tribe, made history as the first tribe member to commit to FSU’s football program. He chose FSU over other powerhouse programs, citing a strong relationship with the coaching staff, including cornerbacks coach Patrick Surtain, his former high school coach.
These strategic recruitments underscore FSU’s commitment to strengthening its defense and maintaining competitiveness in the ACC.
