Defensive Line: The return of defensive tackle Jacobian Guillory, who is recovering from a ruptured Achilles, adds veteran leadership to a unit that saw substantial contributions from freshmen Ahmad Breaux and Dominick McKinley in 2024. The addition of transfer Sydir Mitchell from Texas further strengthens the interior line. On the edges, transfers Jimari Butler from Nebraska and Jack Pyburn from Florida bring experience and depth, with Butler having recorded 17 tackles for loss and 7.5 sacks during his tenure with the Cornhuskers.
